THE RSVP

May 08 – Bits & Pieces @ Anita’s House

Welcome to the re-cap of our latest, wonderfully successful Ladies Day, for the month of May. To start with, how nice was the weather! I arrived early at Anita's, rugged up in survival suit because I knew we would be outdoors for the day, only to be greeted with heavenly sunshine! Nothing like starting on the right foot! My attire quickly became not only unnecessary but a trifle warm and I needed to change. With Anita not having anything in a size 6 or 8 (I don’t fit into either), I was pushed to find a top on the give away table. I ended up in a lovely purple number, showing off every lump and bump and my bra to boot. Please believe me that I started my day looking much nicer, in clothes that fit me.

I think we all agree that Anita did an AMAZING job on the house and set up – it was cozy and intimate or we could all sprawl – either way, from all of us, THANK YOU on your hard work. Although getting the house painted was a touch too much, no, that is not a joke, she TRULY got her house painted! Don’t feel weird though! In a few months when we're at my house, it'll be so awful that the two feelings will even each other out nicely. Anita likes to work to have things nice for her guests. I like my guests to work and make everything nice for me.

We would like to welcome Michayla who joined us for her first of many Ladies Days. She also won the RAFFLE – a pair of gorgeous candles in unique and wonderful holders. Luckily she was busy admiring them and therefore unaware of the daggers she was being given at not being polite enough to lose. Some people! Where’s Crystal? She knew the rules!

The Ladies Day LEGEND TROPHY was finally prised out of Michelle's death grip and awarded to…LISA!! She earned the honor for her RSVP-ing! She had RSVP'd to Anita late after Anita ran into her by chance. Not an unusual occurrence – and we were happy to at least receive an RSVP – yes I'm yelling at you – but then later that evening, Anita received a lovely apologizing text for being late and was sweet and thoughtful and truly deserved the honor for the LADIES DAY LEGEND trophy. We all would like to send our best GET – Well – Soon wishes to our LEGEND, who came out even though she had a nasty cold. Feel better soon xx

On a sadder note, as soon as Michelle arrived, she casually enquired as to how to win the trophy this month. I laughingly replied that it’s already been decided…unless somebody streaks!!! She was so still. Standing there, staring off into space…TRULY CONTEMPLATING WHETHER OR NOT TO DO IT!!! I am not kidding! She was thinking seriously. I was scared. I slowly backed away…The scariest thing of all was, she DIDN’T smell like alcohol!

A special thank you goes out to the UTTERLY AMAZING obviously French cuisine trained mystery chef who cooked delicious lasagnes and made garlic bread by hand that very same day. Boy, I don't know who she is but I bet she’s great, smart, really good looking and yes, definitely gorgeous…

All that had Psychic Zoe readings were blown away and our responses prompted THREE more people to have a reading, spur of the moment! That made Anita & I feel great, as Zoe came all the way from Salisbury and needed a minimum of 6 people to make the trek. Due to late pull outs, we only had 5, but with an added 3, Anita and I were so happy. Thank you to all the Ladies, but xxx – a kiss each to the 3.

Lastly, thank you so much to Cherie who surprised Anita and myself with a lovely gift of sweets! Thank you so much you made us feel so lovely, you're just wonderful!
