January 08 – Want a fresh start for 2008? Swap & Give

January's Ladies Day was a quiet but fun affair. It was our first Swap ' n ' Give. Basically you bring along items that are in good repair but no longer needed and pop them on the table to be taken before perusing the table yourself for some treasure. This plan was great but we ended up taking over the whole loungeroom of my, Amazing Aimee's, house! We had such a huge turnout of goods, it was overwhelming. Nearly all of it was taken to a new home with only 2 bags being dropped off by Awesome Anita to the Goodwill. People walked away with everything from state of the art juicers to clothes, candles and books. We had some yummy nibbles throughout the day and lots of cuppa's with laughs on the side. A good day was had by all and with all the FREE bargains people had walked away with, we knew that this was one Ladies Day that we would have to repeat.
