February 08 – Lunch & a Movie

Now this is the life! Our biggest turn out to date for Ladies Day, with a luscious lunch at Spargo's followed by the movie “27 dresses” - at discount prices I might add, thanks to Awesome Anita's bulk buying.

Lunch was wonderful and we took over a good part of half the restaurant, vocally at least, and the meals were superb. Yummiest pasta around, that's for sure. There was a little trouble with how to approach the eating of a GENEROUSLY sized burger, but with a sudden influx of offers of how to help, the problem was quickly retracted. We begrudgingly had to move away from the concept of having third rounds of dessert as it was time for the movie.

And WHAT a movie! Awesome Anita and myself being the most recently married, were beside ourselves with laughter, not that we were alone by any count. It was the perfect movie to see, lots of laughs and lots of dresses. A fun afternoon and a feel good recharge was had by all. Ladies were now saying their goodbyes with an automatic “see you next month! “ .. Music to our ears!
